The Ather 450S is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore).

Ather Energy has started rolling out the 450S electric scooter from its Hosur plant. This was confirmed by co-founder and CEO Tarun Mehta on Twitter.

The Ather 450S was launched in August this year. It is the brand’s most affordable offering, priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore).

The 450S comes with Ather’s latest 7-inch DeepView Display, an LED headlamp and a single-piece seat. The Pro variant gets additional features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, auto-hold function, and four riding modes – SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport. The e-scooter also features a coasting regen function, Fall Safe and an emergency stop signal.

The 450S is available with a 2.9 kWh battery that powers a 5.4 kW electric motor. It has a maximum range of 115 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. Ather claims the battery can be charged in 8 hours and 36 minutes.
