The NX500 uses an upgraded 471cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 47 BHP and 43 Nm.
Honda has unveiled a new middleweight adventure tourer called the NX500. It’s essentially a rebadged CB500X.
The 2024 NX500 receives a few cosmetic updates while retaining its tall stance. The bike has a larger fairing with an LED headlamp and a windscreen. It also gets a new 5-inch digital instrument console that offers Bluetooth connectivity.
The NX500 is powered by a 471cc, parallel-twin engine, which now features a crank counterweight and balancer shaft. Honda claims these upgrades have made the engine smoother. It develops 47 BHP and 43 Nm. Honda has also updated the ECU for improved acceleration.
The NX500 is equipped with a 41 mm Showa upside-down fork and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 296 mm discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. The bike rides on lightweight wheels that are said to reduce unsprung weight by 1.5 kg, adding to an overall weight loss of 3 kg.
