{"id":49716,"date":"2023-10-06T14:49:24","date_gmt":"2023-10-06T14:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/highwaynewspro.com\/?p=49716"},"modified":"2023-10-06T14:49:24","modified_gmt":"2023-10-06T14:49:24","slug":"tesla-starts-hiring-for-semi-factory-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/highwaynewspro.com\/electric-cars\/tesla-starts-hiring-for-semi-factory-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Tesla Starts Hiring For Semi Factory Expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tesla posted several job listings on the careers section of its website that will be responsible for the Gigafactory Nevada expansion and subsequently the production ramp-up for the Class 8 Semi truck.<\/p>\n<p>No fewer than 10 job postings have been listed online, including one for a Senior Architect who will work on \u201clarge-scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction projects,\u201d as highlighted in the job description.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla is also looking for a Structural Modeling Lead, a Factory Design Engineering Leader, a Lead Plumbing Engineer, a BIM Manager and Virtual Design Coordinator, as well as suitable professionals for the following roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff IOT Network Engineer, Infrastructure Network Engineering;<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Construction Project Management, Infrastructure Programs, Semi;<\/li>\n<li>CAE &amp; CFD Thermal Engineer, Battery Engineering, Semi;<\/li>\n<li>CAE Analysis Engineer, Structures &amp; Durability, Semi;<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Design Engineer, Structural Design, Semi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of the positions \u2013 like the Factory Design Engineering Leader \u2013 are located in Sparks, Nevada, while others \u2013 such as the CAE &amp; CFD Thermal Engineer \u2013 are based in Fremont, California.
