There are as many turns in that headline as there are on the Rallycross circuit these cars compete on. A Lamborghini is perhaps the last car I’d expect to see on the Rallycross circuit.
And indeed, it is not as dominant as you’d expect a car with a V10 making about 500 hp. Though, this is hardly an appropriate medium. Still, with all-wheel-drive and a significantly raised suspension, it doesn’t do too badly.
Competing against an Audi 80 with a BiTurbo V8. No more information is given about the Audi, so it’s left up to our imagination what powers it, but apparently, it’s no slouch.
The video is also a lovely reminder of why live racing is so much fun. Every time the cars go out of sight and then emerge, the anticipation of watching the corner is thrilling. As much as I love live broadcasts, imperfect information has its delights.
