The Harrier is set to get a new design steering wheel similar to the Sierra EV Concept.
Like most SUVs in Tata’s line-up, the Tata Harrier is also due to get a major makeover. The Harrier and the Safari will receive similar updates as the recent spy images have confirmed.
A Harrier test mule was recently spotted featuring a new design steering wheel similar to the Sierra EV Concept. The SUV gets a redesigned dashboard with a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. It is also likely to get an all-new centre console with haptic switches and ADAS.
On the outside, the Harrier will get a redesigned grille flanked by LED daytime running lights, while the rear is likely to feature slimmer LED tail lights with an LED light bar. SUV will also get new design 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The updated Harrier is expected to be offered with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as before. This unit puts out 168 BHP and 350 Nm and comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Tata is also working on a new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine for the Harrier and Safari.
