According to a media report, Honda might launch the fifth generation City in India on March 16, 2020.
The new City was unveiled in Thailand in November 2019. Earlier this month, the car had appeared on Honda’s India website, where prospective customers could register their interest.
The fifth-generation City features a redesigned front fascia with a large chrome insert on the grille and LED headlights. It has a coupe-like roofline and wraparound tail lights. On the inside, the car gets a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, twin-dial instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit.
In India, the new City is likely to get a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
