Project Maybach as a 6-metre long 2-seat battery-electric off-road coupe
Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off its new concept car, called Project Maybach.
The luxury concept model features an off-road coupe theme and has been designed from the ground up by Mercedes-Maybach in collaboration with the late American fashion designer, Vigil Abloh. Project Maybach takes inspiration from the ‘great outdoors’ and is said to “exemplify the possibilities of future design”.
Mercedes describes Project Maybach as a 6-metre long 2-seat battery-electric off-road coupe. The concept comes with Grand Tourer like proportions, combined with chunky off-road tyres. This is said to allow the car to go anywhere, while still retaining the Maybach levels of refinement.
The company though hasn’t revealed the powertrain details of the Project Maybach concept.
