Here’s the Best Way To Clean Your Car’s Leather and Cloth Seats

We all spend a ton of time on our cars exterior, washing, waxing, protecting, because it’s what we present to the world. But like me, I bet a lot of you skimp out on interior work, either because it’s more of a pain, or no one (but you) sees it. The latter is actually the reason you should clean your interiors more often.

YouTube presenter Chris Fix is showing us how to clean the seats of your vehicle, including leather and cloth, and trim and seat belts. And don’t forget the mounting brackets! Much of this requires you to remove your seats from the vehicle, which is actually a simple process that Fix walks us through. While they’re out, feel free to thoroughly vacuum the carpet.

We brought you another video from Fix a few months ago where he explained how to change all the fluids in your vehicle.

As for tools and products, all it takes is a few brushes, a few rags, a few products and a Shop Vac. If you want to get crazy, pick up a mini steam cleaner too. Add elbow grease and you’ll be done in a few hours.
