Toyota has a slew of updates for its GR lineup of performance vehicles. There’s the 45th anniversary edition of the Supra in a new red-orange paint color, the GR86 Trueno Edition which brings back the upgrades and look of the iconic AE86, and now this, an updated version of last year’s now-iconic GR Corolla Circuit Edition with a new blue look. 2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition: Exterior Details

Like last year’s model, you can spot this year’s Corolla Circuit Edition by its bulging hood sporting air vents, functional front air ducts in the black grille, angular LED headlights, a black rear spoiler, lower rear diffuser, black carbon roof, and a triple exhaust setup. This year adds a new paint color, Blue Flame, which is featured in the pictures.

There are some chassis and body modifications for the new model year of the Circuit Edition. Aluminum sheets added to the front and rear bumpers improves aero performance, as well as structural changes to the front bumper airflow outlet. New ribbed flange bolts mount the steering gear box to the front suspension subframe now, with wider-head bolts mounting the rear suspension to the rear subframe. An unpainted metal-to-metal bolt grounds the battery.

2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition: Compared to Regular Hatchback

Compared to a standard Corolla hatchback model, Toyota claims the GR Circuit Edition adds 349 weld points, more than 108 additional inches of structural adhesive, a new center brace, and three underfloor braces to strengthen and add rigidity to the Toyota New Global Architecture-C (TNGA-C) vehicle platform.

2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition: Interior Details

Also new for 2024, the Circuit Edition interior now gets Brin Naub suede and synthetic leather-trimmed sport seats with blue accents, blue accent stitching throughout the cabin, and a blue-striped GR shift knob. An 8-speaker JBL audio system is standard.

2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition: Power

Powering the GR Corolla Circuit Edition is a 1.6L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine good for 300 horsepower and 274 lb-ft of torque, exclusively matched to a six-speed manual transmission with rev matching.

2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition: Pricing

Toyota is withholding pricing and availability details for the 2024 GR Corolla Circuit Edition for now, only promising that it will come later this winter. Pricing will be announced at a later date, but the previous model was priced just under $44,000.
