1994 Geo Metro Is Really, Really Cheap

In addition to being the final new car available in the United States with under 50 horsepower, the Suzuki-built Geo (later Chevrolet) Metro was always among the very cheapest new cars you could buy during its 1989-2001 production run. By 1994, the 49-horsepower Metro XFi was gone, but the 55-horsepower Metro could still be purchased new for a mere $8,395 (about $15,020 today).
