James Bond 25 cars have been revealed ahead of the film launching next year. There has been much anticipation about what vehicles 007 will be getting behind the wheel of since the film was first announced. In the last installment of the franchise Spectre, the main Bond car was the Aston Martin DB10, which was specially developed for the film. A recommissioned Jaguar C-X75 was developed for the film and used by one of the film’s villains and the Aston Martin DB5 featured at the end of the film after being destroyed in Skyfall.
007 is synonymous with the Aston Martin and that relationship continues with the new, as yet the unnamed film, with three of its cars featuring.
A tweet by the carmaker stated that the iconic Aston Martin DB5, Aston Martin V8, and Aston Martin Valhalla will star in Bond 25.
The V8 Vantage is a gorgeous classic Aston Martin which was first seen in the Timothy Dalton Bond flick ‘the Living Daylights.’
The black performance car is also decked out with some gadgets including forward-firing missiles, laser cutter emitters, and a self-destruct mechanism.
It also has a set of deployable skis which will help it have a quick getaway as well as some other handy tech which is likely to feature.
The DB5 is perhaps the most famous car in the world and has been immortalised by the Bond franchise and is also expected to play a role in the movie.
The other car set to debut is the Aston Martin Valhalla hypercar which is dramatically stayed and should be insanely quick. It is also a battery-electric hybrid vehicle which will make it a little bit greener than some of the other cars he’s got to grips with.
Only 500 versions of the car are set to be made and will cost upwards of £1.5million.
