Cars.com and sister site PickupTrucks.com are nothing without testing the vehicles we write about, and on the truck side we got a chance to put two very different Ram models through their paces. The first, a 2019 Ram 1500, got a real-world test as a family road trip vehicle loaded with people and luggage, including a child safety seat. Our first chance to drive the other, the new 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, took place at an off-road park where we could test its extreme capabilities. And in other less-practical-but-still-awesome news, check out the new motorcycle-themed special-edition Harley-Davidson F-150 by Tuscany.

Ram 1500 as Vacation Vehicle?
Would you choose a pickup truck as your road trip vehicle? Well, we would, so we loaded a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn full of people and luggage, and took it on a 700-mile road trip. Ford F-150, Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Mashup
Remember when Ford used to partner directly with Harley-Davidson for special-edition trucks featuring the motorcycle manufacturer’s colors and badging? Those days are gone, but now Tuscany Motor Co. has brought back the idea with both brands’ blessings. We first got a chance to take a look at one back in February at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, and you can check out our video review via the link below for all the details.
2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon: Everyday Off-Roader?
Cars.com and PickupTrucks.com reviewer Aaron Bragman got behind the wheel of the new 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon at an off-road park in Indiana recently, and tested whether the heavy-duty truck might make for a good middle-ground choice for a buyer who needs a practical pickup that can also handle topographical adversity when necessary. How did the Power Wagon fare? You’ll have to read Bragman’s story to find out, but we will tell you that he calls the Power Wagon “the one vehicle you’d want to steal from the local dealership if the apocalypse should hit tomorrow” — which should be a pretty strong indication of how it performed on treacherous terrain.
