A little while ago, we told you the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Islander Special Edition was back after more than a decade. Now we can add the news that, for the first time, this appearance package comes to the compact 2021 Renegade, and it’s available right now.

The new 2021 Renegade Islander Special Edition uses the Latitude trim with the 2.4-liter engine as a base. Front-wheel-drive comes standard, although all-wheel-drive is an option. The big news is about the interior and exterior upgrades, including a “Tiki Bob” hood decal, cloth seats with special Islander logos and Surf Blue accent stitching, and an available Alpine White-painted roof (a no-cost option). Other features include a dual-pane panoramic glass roof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and UConnect 4 with a 7.0-inch touchscreen. The 2021 Renegade Islander Special Edition rings in at $28,925, a $2,595 bump over a 2021 Renegade Lattitude with no options. Exterior color options are:

Meanwhile, we now have pricing and a few more details about the 2021 Wrangler Islander Special Edition: $34,865 for the two-door version, and $38,365 for the four-door. Both are based on the Wrangler Sport S trim (which starts at $33,170 and $36,670, respectively), with several engine and transmission options available. Opting for the Islander package nets you 17-inch Rubicon aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires, Rubicon rock rails, UConnect 4 with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, and standard Command-Trac 4WD. In terms of the all-important appearance upgrades, that “Tiki Bob” hood decal makes another appearance, as do the seat logos and accent stitching. Wrangler Islanders also get a Ceramic White mid-bolster on the seats, and an available three-piece white hardtop ($2,395 extra). Exterior color options are:
