2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro joins lineup – paultan.org

Entering the Borgo Panigale motorcycle maker’s retro bike lineup for next year is the 2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro. Coming in a Giallo Ocra paint scheme and black trellis frame, the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro, as its name suggests, pays homage to the two-cylinder Ducati 450 Desmo Mono and Ducati 750 Sport of 1972, marking 50 years since the introduction of the Ducati air-cooled V-twin first seen on the 750 Sport.

An additional throwback is to the 750 Supersport racing Ducati campaigned by the Spaggiari team in 1975 ridden by Franco Uncini. Nods to the racing Ducatis of the 1970s include the Ducati logo, designed by Giugiaro, along with black spoked wheels, circular rear-view mirrors and brown seat with dedicated stitching.

In the engine room, motive power remains the same as the rest of the Scrambler 1100 line, a 1,079 cc, air-cooled V-twin with Desmodromic valve actuation, producing 86 hp at 7,500 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The engine comes with three ride modes – Active, Journey and City – coupled with traction control and cornering ABS.

Rolling on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel, shod in Pirelli MT60 RS tyres developed specifically for the Ducati Scrambler range, the Tribute Pro comes with an 810 mm seat height while 15-litres of fuel is carried in the tank. Full LED lighting is used throughout on the Tribute Pro, including the headlight with ‘X’ motif and LED DRL.

Other riding conveniences include a USB charging socket located under the seat and optional Ducati Multimedia System that gives connectivity to the rider’s smartphone. The current Ducati Scrambler catalogue also includes the Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro, Ducati’s entry level offering to the Scrambler range, and the Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro.
